Carrickmines were privileged to host the CTC U12 Carrickmines Cup for the 3rd year.

Eight teams representing some of Europe’s largest and most famous clubs participated. Sixty young players, their coaches and some parents travelled to Dublin to play against some of Irelands top juniors.
The teams were divided in two sections of four with the teams playing off against one another. The four teams that won through to the semi finals were Carrickmines 1 ,Carrickmines 2, Edgbaston Priory and I.Cesky. 
The other teams competing were Real Barcelona 1899, RC de Polo Barcelona and RC Tennis de la Magdelana.
I.Cesky won the cup outright in a tightly contested final against Edgbaston Priory.

The tournament provided an opportunity to see some very talented players perform at a young age. Two of the players that played in the Carrickmines Cup in 2007 are now ranked in the top three U/14s in Europe
