Carrickmines were delighted to welcome five visiting overseas teams to Dublin, with two teams from the host club making up the numbers. Every club played three matches over the two days with the first round determining who played for the Cup, (the winning teams), and who played for the plate, (the Runners up)!

The Cup was retained by Carrickmines, after tight matches against 1.Cesky (Prague) and SALK (Stockholm). SALK edged out 1.Cesky for 2nd place on a set count back having finished even on points. It was the third time the Carrickmines won the tournament.

The RCT Club 1899 edged out a tight victory for the plate defeating neighbours, the Polo Club, from Barcelona to win the shield.

Again we were fortunate to have wonderful sunshine for the weekend and to get full use out of the grass courts. Many of the players getting their first ever experience on grass.

Carrickmines looks forward to hosting the 2018 event!!!
