Carrickmines were delighted to again host the CTC U 12 Carrickmines Cup. The visiting teams this year were RC Polo, Barcelona, RST La Magdalena, Santander and SALK, Stockholm.

The tournament has been running ever since 2005 and has presented many juniors their first opportunity to play on grass. Some have gone on to have top professional careers including this year’s Wimbledon Champion, Marketa Vondrousova, the 2023 Wimbledon Ladies Singles Champion. She played in Carrickmines in 2008 while playing for her club 1.Cesky, Prague. 

SALK narrowly defeated Carrickmines 4/2 in the final.
