Lyon hosted teams from Fitzwilliam LTC, RST Magdalena (Santander) and Padova for a CTC Seniors competition during the third weekend of September.

TC Padova claimed victory after a nail-biting competition, winning 9-8 in the men’s doubles thanks to a decisive super tie break. Lyon had been leading 4-2 after the singles matches, and 6-3 in the final match.

Fitzwilliam beat RST Magdalena for the bronze medal position.
