Carrickmines joined up with the Real Club de Tennis Barcelona 1899 once again this year for a third annual junior player exchange, renewing old friendships and making new friends!
Twenty seven juniors participated in total, 15 from the RCTB and 12 from Carrickmines. As in previous years, the juniors stayed with host families from both clubs. Many of the juniors were making a return visit, having participated in previous exchanges or played in the U12 CTC competition at Carrickmines or the U14 CTC event in Barcelona.
The first two weeks were spent in Dublin with all returning to Barcelona for the last two weeks in July on the second part of the exchange.
Thanks to the organisers from both clubs and to the host families for giving the juniors a great cultural and tennis experience.
