The 2022 Annual General Meeting of the Centenary Tennis Clubs Association took place on November 12th in Barcelona as a hybrid meeting, with delegates attending in person or online. The organisation’s President, Jordi Cambra hosted the meeting and shared his plans for the future of the Centenary Tennis Clubs Association.
The Meeting reflected on another year of growth for the organisation, in which CTC tournament activities returned to a level comparable to their pre-pandemic peak. The delegates also heard reports on the colloquium sharing best practices among members on the topic of maintaining the engagement of club members, and the first CTC weekend charity event, organized to showcase the values tennis can offer to society.
Five new clubs were accepted as CTC members, bringing the membership total to 84 clubs in 26 countries. The new clubs are the Chandos Lawn Tennis Club from Great Britain, the Paris Jean Bouin from France, the CE Laieta from Spain, the Edgemoor Club from USA and the Quito Tenis & Golf Club from Ecuador.
