30th Annual General Meeting

On Saturday, 15 November 2025, the Centenary Tennis Clubs Association held its 30th Annual General Meeting in Barcelona.

Representatives from 16 member clubs attended the session, which was chaired by Jordi Cambra, the organisation’s president and president of RCTB-1899.

Before the AGM, the CTC hosted an interesting symposium which covered topics that could be useful for the clubs, such as ‘The importance of a club’s website’, ‘The importance of mental training in Tennis Schools’ and ‘Early-age competition: a benefit or a risk?’.

The assembly approved the admission of four new clubs, bringing the total number of clubs to 98 in 29 countries. These new clubs are: Biarritz Olympique Tennis et Padel (France), Hanbury Tennis Club (Italy), Memorial Drive Tennis Club (Australia) and Tokyo Lawn Tennis Club (Japan).

The assembly heard details of the activities organised in 2025, including the regular CTC competitions, CTC Friendly Doubles, CTC colloquiums, and charitable events to showcase the social values that clubs can offer their local communities. Fifteen tournaments were held, with 46 teams from 22 clubs taking part.

The Association has also partnered with the Green Tennis Project, an Erasmus + Project supported by the European Union, which aims to develop tools to make tennis more sustainable. CTC will continue to contribute to the project over the next year.

Looking ahead, 2026 is set to be another busy year. Seven clubs have committed to organising events. Additionally, senior competitions will be introduced for players aged 65+ and 70+.

The 31th AGM will take place on Saturday, 14 November 2026 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
