After two days of very good tennis, the team from Villa Primrose of Bordeaux defeated the I ČLTK – Prague team in the finals of the CTC +50/+60 competition held at Tennis Club Padova 1912 on September 12–13, 2026. The standard of play was excellent, and the French team won the series 5–4.
In the semifinals, the French team defeated the host club, while the Czech club beat the RCTB-1899 team (which ultimately finished third).
It was a wonderful weekend of tennis, during which players and team entourages mixed with several Tennis Club Padova members, particularly at the traditional poolside dinner on Saturday evening.
The Centenary Tennis Clubs Association would like to greatly thank the Tennis Club Padova 1912 for the hospitality offered during the whole tournament, and also Villa Primrose Bordeaux, ČLTK – Praha and the RCTB-1899, which greatly contributed to the success of this beautiful edition.
Guillaume Bouffard, a member of the Executive Committee, presented Alberto Bressan, the president of Tennis Club Padova 1912, with a CTC recognition award.
