CTC announces new Principal Partner

The Association of Centenary Tennis Clubs (CTC) has signed a partnership agreement with EFG International, a leading international private banking group based in Zurich, Switzerland. This partnership offers a number of benefits to both CTC and EFG, and marks the start of a new phase in the development of the Association.

The partnership agreement, which was approved on 17 May by our Management Committee in Lausanne, is for an initial period of three years. There will be a particular emphasis on supporting and facilitating junior events, and the partners are looking at recognising the junior champions of each member club with a CTC-EFG medal. Looking ahead, various options have been identified to innovate the relationship.

CTC will be recognising EFG as its Principal Partner, exclusive for financial services organizations, in a number of ways, including:

  • EFG logo to appear on CTC web-site, newsletter, stationery, and other marketing materials.
  • Ability to refer to its partnership with CTC internationally.
  • Visibility at CTC competitions and meetings, as well as at its AGM in Lausanne.
  • EFG representatives to attend competitions and social functions, and able to make contact with CTC Clubs directly (through appropriate channels, typically via the club Secretary).

EFG will initially be featuring its relationship with CTC in an advert it has produced, using past and present images from the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona. It will be using this for the first time in the official Wimbledon programme alongside the bio of Rafael Nadal (a member of the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona).

EFG International is a distinctive and dynamic business with a strong relationship orientation, and CTC looks forward to working with it in the years to come to develop furthur its Association.
