CTC attended ‘GreenTennis’ launch

GREENTENNIS, the pioneering Erasmus+ initiative focused on promoting sustainable practices in tennis, officially kicked off on 28 November.

Tennis Europe Vice-President Cem Tinaz was joined by representatives from Centenary Tennis Clubs and the Hungarian Tennis Association as well as the other five participating sports organisations for an introductory session to define roles and tasks.

Work is due to start in January 2025 and CTC is involved in the initial part of the survey and in the final part of the evaluation of evidence and results.

The three-year project aims to address the environmental impact of the sport by implementing sustainable practices at events and venues across the tennis ecosystem. For further information about ‘GreenTennis’, visit Tennis Europe.
