CTC elects new President, Jordi Cambra

Jordi Cambra, President of the RCTB 1899, has been elected as new President of the Centenary Tennis Clubs Association.

A dentist specialized in periodontics by the University of Southern California, Mr. Cambra has been a tennis player since he was six years old. He has participated on national teams in junior and senior age categories.

Mr. Cambra was elected unanimously by the Constitutional Committee following the elections of the new Board of Management on November 7, 2020.

The Committee also re-elected three other key positions serving the Board: Petr Simunek of I.CLTK Prague will once again serve as Vice-President, while Eric Rogers of TC Geneve will remain as CTC Treasurer. Berta Tintoré was re-appointed as the General Secretary. Chaired by Lars Myhrman, the CTC’s longest-serving Board member, the meeting took place virtually in accordance with the Swiss Special Regulations on governance during the pandemic.

In response to his election, Mr. Cambra said: “It is a great honour for me to have been elected to continue with the legacy of Mr. Juan M. Tintoré, who sadly left us this year. I will work to highlight the Centenary Tennis Clubs Association’s many positive values.”
