Carrickmines joined up with the RCT Club from Barcelona for 6th year, again experiencing a very successful and enjoyable junior exchange.
Fourteen junior players participated on this occasion, and each stayed with host families. In Carrickmines, for the first two weeks of July, they trained and played matches in the club every day. Many of the players returned from last year, enjoying the intensive training in each club. Both clubs also organised social activities and a shopping trips.
The juniors from both clubs returned to Barcelona for the last two weeks in July on the second part of the exchange and were again looked after superbly!
A special thanks to the organisers from both clubs and the host families for giving the juniors a great cultural and tennis experience.
