On Friday 29 September, Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October, the T.C. Venezia had the pleasure of hosting a tournament of the Association of Centenary Tennis Clubs of which it is a member.
The tournament involved athletes in the over-50 and over-60 categories, who competed in singles, doubles and mixed doubles matches.
In addition to T.C. Venezia, the host, the Real Club de Tennis Barcelona 1899, the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, La Real Sociedad de Tenis de la Magdalena (from Santander), the Carrickmines Croquet & Lawn Tennis Club (from Dublin) and T.C. Padova 1912 took part.
The tournament was won by Real Club de Tennis Barcelona, which defeated Real Club de Polo 4-2 in the final for first place. Third place went to Carrickmines, who got the better of T.C. Venezia 4-2, the same score that earned T.C. Padova fifth place against RST de La Magdalena.
