CTC UK & Ireland Friendly Competition

Ever since the event was inaugurated by the Roehampton Club in 2011, the CTC’s UK and Irish teams have met on an annual basis for a friendly tennis team competition.

Four teams attended this year, with Cumberland, Carrickmines, the host Club and the defending champion Winchester coming together on September 3rd to contest the Roehampton Bowl. Once again including six different categories and bringing together different age groups of the Clubs, from juniors to over 55, the competition was very tight and finally saw the host Club, Edgbaston Priory, emerge triumphant.

The Cumberland Club took the baton, and confirmed that they will be responsible for hosting the next edition of this popular meeting.
