Host victory at CTC Haagsche LTC Leimonias

From 5 to 7 September 2025, a beautiful exchange took place in a sunny setting at the CTC Haagsche LTC Leimonias, a senior CTC competition 35+/45+. A great battle was fought with TC Geneva and HLTC Cumberland from London.

Both Geneva and Cumberland had never visited The Hague before, and they both thoroughly enjoyed the club and the city.

On Saturday, dinner was held at the host club. On Sunday, the final match for the CTC trophy, created especially for this tournament, took place. In the last three doubles matches between Leimonias and Cumberland (Geneva was already out of contention for the title), Leimonias was leading 11-9. The score was still open. And all three doubles matches went to Leimonias in the nick of time, after which Cumberland, in a very sporting manner, presented the trophy to Leimonias.

The event was played in fantastic spirits, with all players enjoying their time together very much.
