HLTC Leimonias invited Carrickmines CLTC to Holland during the first weekend of September for a friendly event with lots of exceptional tennis.
A team of 16 players travelled from Dublin for the competition. On Saturday, the weather was beautiful, with the sun beaming down on the players as the two clubs battled it out on the courts. The Dutch team proved to be the stronger at the end of the day.
On Sunday morning, the doubles matches were made up of a Dutch and Irish player playing together which was a great way to end off the weekend. HLTC Leimonias showed fantastic hospitality and made the Irish team feel very welcome. Everyone is looking forward to playing together again soon.
