
Based in Paris just five minutes away from Roland Garros, Paris Jean Bouin owns since 1903 a major place in French tennis history.
Paris Jean Bouin is one of the main Paris sports clubs, with a balance between competitive and leisure sport. It embraces modernity while it is one of the few centenary French clubs. Paris Jean Bouin has a long tradition of top French players among its members:
– Maud Galtier, a top #1 French female player in the 6o’s
– Jean Ducos de la Haille, David Cup player in the 60’s
– Women’s team French champion 9 years in a row from 1978 to 1986
– Men’s team French champion 3 years in a row from 2005 to 2007 with players such as Richard Gasquet, Gael Monfils, Julien Benneteau, Paul-Henri Mathieu and Nicolas Mahut.
From 2004 to 2010, Paris Jean Bouin organized « Trophée Lagardère », a competition which hosted the best professional players of that time (John McEnroe, Pat Cash, Cédric Pioline, Guy Forget, Mats Wilander), as well as amateur players and other famous personalities.
Since 2017, Paris Jean Bouin is the official training center used during the French Open by the French Tennis Federation. Therefore, the club has opened its facilities to the world best players such as Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer or Novak Djokovic, for their training sessions and its relaxation facilities.
