Philippe Washer

The Centenary Tennis Clubs Association is deeply saddened to note the death of Mr. Philippe Washer, who passed away on November 26th, 2015, aged 91.

Mr. Washer was a great player, representing his country of Belgium in the Davis Cup on many occasions and reaching the quarter finals of Roland Garros in 1957. As President of the Royal Leopold Club in Belgium, he was present at the founding of the CTC on June 11th, 1996, and will be greatly missed by all at our organisation.
