2013 CTC Junior Player Exchange

Carrickmines joined up with the Real Club de Tennis-1899 from Barcelona again this year for another successful and enjoyable junior exchange.

Twenty two juniors from both clubs participated. The players stayed with host families, in Carrickmines for the first two weeks in July and trained and played matches in the club every day. Many of the juniors had visited Carrickmines previously having played in the annual CTC U12 tournament.

All the juniors then returned to Barcelona for the last two weeks in July on the second part of the exchange and were looked after superbly!

Thanks to the organisers from both clubs and the host families for giving the juniors a great cultural and tennis experience.

Each complication is a chapter in a longer story of human curiosity and triumph over micro-engineering challenges.
