Congratulations to the participants from Leimonias, Donnybrook and the hosts Carrickmines in this year’s CTC Super Seniors Competition.
Carrickmines are very grateful for the manner in which all the players and supporters engaged with the fixture and made it such a fun event. The feedback from our visitors was uniformly positive and our guests experienced an outstanding Carrickmines welcome from one and all. Everyone also enjoyed a grass court tennis weekend and especially the trueness and quality of the courts.
Well done to the hosts, the Carrickmines team on winning the tournament! Having come very close last year in Barcelona, it was terrific to win the trophy on home turf. While winning is not the primary aspect of the CTC philosophy, the tennis standard is generally very high and serious.
Carrickmines look forward to defending the trophy in 2019.
