CTC U16 EDGBASTON

Edgbaston Priory Lawn Tennis Club played host to Real Club de Polo de Barcelona and Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club on the weekend of September 30 – October 1, 2017.

All of the teams really enjoyed the weekend and especially the competition, which was played in a format of two boys and two girls on each of the teams playing two boys’ singles, two girls’ singles and two doubles matches respectively.

In the first tie the team from Dublin got a win over the Barcelona juniors and the host team also showed some better tennis scoring a 6/0 win overall. In the final tie, the host team defeated Fitzwilliam by 5 matches to 1.

Edgbaston has already announced their intention to host the competition once again next year.
