CTC U12 Carrickmines Cup

Carrickmines was delighted to welcome back five visiting overseas teams to Dublin and the first Carrickmines Cup since 2019 when the tournament was suspended due to the pandemic. The visitors were SALK (Stockholm), Cumberland (London), RCT 1899 and the RC Polo (both Barcelona), Santander, plus three local teams making up the numbers. All clubs played three matches over the two days with the first round determining who played for the Cup (the winning teams), and who played for the plate (the runners-up)!

Congratulations go to Cumberland LTC, who won the trophy for the first time, defeating SALK in the final.

The event was fortunate to have wonderful sunshine for the weekend and to be able to fully utilise the beautiful grass courts. Many of the players were getting their first ever experience on grass.

Carrickmines looks forward to hosting the event again next year. Results can be found here.
