Committee Meetings in Barcelona

Two separate committee meetings of the Centenary Tennis Clubs Association have been held at the Real Club de Tennis Barcelona-1899. CTC President Juan Maria Tintoré led a meeting of the organisation’s Committee of Management, attended by Petr Simunek of ICLTK Praha, Lars Myhrman (Kung KLK) , Gunnar A. Streidt (Rotweiss) , Jurgen Buttkus (TC Geneve), Juan Mª Tintoré, CTC President, Donald Macleod (Cumberland LTC), Garbhan O Nuallain (Fitzwilliam LTC), Maurizio Romeo (TC Parioli), Pedro Navedo (La Magdalena), Berta Tintoré (CTC Secretary), Marco Gillardelli Counsellor), and J. I. Soler Cabot (RCTB 1899).

In addition, the Competitions Committee met to prepare the 2012 agenda and sort the groups for the organisation’s key competitions. Chaired by Mr. Simunek, and also attended by Mr. O Nuallain, Mr. Juan Mª Tintoré, Mr. Marco Gilardelli and Berta Tintoré, the Committee confirmed plans for the traditional events calendar, and announced additional plans to for a new international event to be organised by Royan Garden Club in France to celebrate their centenary, as well as special events set to take place in London, organised by Roehampton Club to tie in with the Olympic Games.
