CTC Seniors Barcelona

Four European clubs enjoyed a great weekend of centenary tennis with the celebration of the CTC Seniors Group in Barcelona from 15-17 October.

The team from Villa Primrose in France won the final with a resounding 8/1 opening victory over the team from Cumberland Lawn Tennis Club, London. Earlier the champions beat hosts RC Polo by the slimmest of margins, the 5/4 win taking them through to the final. Polo went on to beat Circolo de Bologna 6/3 to secure third place overall.

All the teams expressed their gratitude for being back on court and their interest to participate in future editions. TC Bologna, Cumberland and Villa Primrose also expressed their interest in hosting future editions of the friendly competition, which will return next year at a venue to be confirmed.
