President of Olympic Committee receives guests

On the 18th July the President of the International Olympic Committee Mr. Thomas Bach received a visit from the Catalan painter Jordi Alumá, together with the Centenary Tennis Clubs Association President Juan Maria Tintoré.

Mr. Bach took the opportunity to show them the location of Mr. Aluma’s painting of the birth of the Greek Olympic movement that resides in the office of the president of the Olympic Committee. The painting forms part of a series of nine murals by Mr. Aluma that were commissioned by the former International Olympic Committee President Juan Antonio Samarach for the Chateau de Vidy.
